ORGANISATION

During the football season the Club holds monthly meetings in the Committee Room of the Banchory Royal British Legion club located on Ramsay Road. These meetings are held on the last Sunday of every month, starting from August running through to May, and start at 7pm. As per the club constitution the meeting attendees are the elected committee only with all members attending the AGM of the club.

The AGM takes place in the last week of April. Allowance for parent participation is made if raised through the elected officials/team managers and the point deemed necessary to discuss at a scheduled meeting. At this meeting the parent/parents can be in attendance for the issue to be discussed. The Club depends heavily on voluntary work from the individuals involved and new volunteers are welcome at any level.

The Club will pay for any necessary training required for the individual to operate correctly within the Scottish Youth Football Association guidelines. The Club also follows a strict Code of Conduct for the protection of children and has a Child Protection Officer. This official has been approved by the Disclosures of Scotland Act. At the start of each season all officials and helpers will be issued with a guideline pack that will fully aid the running and understanding of the Banchory Boys Football Club.

Team managers can also be approached on issues. These issues would then be raised and dealt with at the monthly meeting of the committee, or if urgent, as soon as practicable.
