The Boxing night was a huge success taking us past our target fundraising total.A big thanks must go to all the companys who took a sponsors table and also to all who attended the night in some other capacity.A big thanks must also go to Alan Mellis of St Marys Boxing Club Aberdeen,whose assistance over the months previous to the event made sure everything was in place for a great night.Alan acctually had a double hip replacement the year previous and gave the show to Norman Watts club Amateur Boxing Scotland Ltd,Again Norman was instrumental in securing the services of some of the North Easts better boxing talent and providing a great show at the British Legion on the night. The overall reaction and feedback we have had since the event has all been good with most enthusing over the entertainment. The British Legion was absolutely bursting at the seams which was good to see. WE HAVE SECURED THE BOXING FOR NEXT YEAR BY REQUEST OF THE BOXING ASSOCIATION THEMSELVES.
